Report a concern

If a child is in danger right now, call 112 in the EU, or your local emergency number. Custorian is not a crisis service.

First, the right service

What happenedGo to
Someone told you about abuse or groomingThe police (in Denmark, 114). A child who wants to talk can call the child helpline: 116 111 in the EU, others at childhelplineinternational.org.
You saw or were sent child sexual abuse materialYour national hotline (in Denmark, AnmeldDet.dk, run by Red Barnet; others at inhope.org) or the police. Never open, copy or forward it.
A child is being blackmailed with images (sextortion)The police at once. The child should not pay or reply, and should keep the messages.
Someone may harm themselves, or a child’s health is at riskA family doctor or health line; the emergency number if it is urgent.

Then, tell Custorian here

Every report to Custorian comes through this form, never by email or chat. That way it reaches only our safeguarding staff, it is never lost in an inbox, and we can count what is happening: which harms, in which countries, at what ages and on which services. We use those numbers only in aggregate, to back our work with local, regional and global regulators. What you write is never shared.

Need help or advice rather than reporting something? Ask in the forum: posts are anonymous by default and each language has its own forum.

Write only what you were told and when. No images, links or screenshots, and no more names than you need to. If you are under 18, please call the child helpline, 116 111, or talk to an adult you trust.

What has already been done

Only Custorian’s safeguarding staff can read this report. It is not shared with any chapter lead. A concern about Custorian itself, its staff or its Board goes to an independent body instead: see below.

A concern about Custorian itself

If your concern is about Custorian, its staff, its Board or the alliance team, you do not have to tell us first. You can report it, anonymously if you wish, to Denmark’s national whistleblower scheme, which is run independently under the Danish Data Protection Agency: whistleblower.dk. If a child may be at risk, go to the police.
